Fresh off their Right Now Australian tour, Mildura locals Loose Bricks are back in their hometown for a massive Easter Saturday show. Having finished their National tour with a sold-out show at the Workers Club in Melbourne, the boys are full of excitement to do the same back home.
Comprised of four best mates, Loose Bricks have made a name for themselves with their energetic live performances and songwriting that capture life's journey from adolescence into adulthood.
Early releases from the band explore life through the eyes of reckless and naive teenagers. With nostalgic lyrics and catchy melodies, EPs ‘Treasure’ and ‘Sunshine Circus’ invite the band's loyal following into their lives, paying homage to family, friends, and the beauty and fragility of life. Following these EPs, the band released their biggest hit to date, Colourman, a song that captures Loose Bricks’ heart for equality, peace and love.
The band’s 2021 EP, ‘Waves of Mirage’, marked a new beginning for Loose Bricks as long-time members Levi Smith (Vocals and guitar), Todd Griffiths (Lead guitar), and Korbin Begg (Bass guitar) were joined by childhood friend, Aaron Lucchesi (Drums). ‘Waves of Mirage’ is a collection of contrasting songs featuring diverse songwriting and new sonic textures. The five-track EP boasts powerful guitar-driven anthems, intimate acoustic melodies, and introspective lyrics showcasing the band's diversity and musical progression.
The band’s most recent release “Right Now” is heavily influenced by UK Rock, bringing with it a new level of energy and heavy-hitting chorus’, while still incorporating the lush dream-rock elements that the band are known for. They have definitely found a sweet spot in their style of writing. The new single pinpoints how special it is to live in the moment, not just waiting for the destination but to indulge in the journey itself, to be in the Right Now.
Since forming in 2016, Loose Bricks have played multiple national tours, sell-out headline shows in Melbourne, Mildura and Adelaide, and supported notable acts including Coterie, DICE, Bootleg rascal, Hoodoo Gurus, and Kingswood. With their down-to-earth country kid attitude and energetic performances, Loose Bricks will have you singing along and spilling a beer like they’re your best mates.
